All-in-one: How to Integrate with Google Calendar and Assign Jobs

The Google Calendar integration does 2 things:
  1. Allows you to automatically get bookings pushed to your calendar
  2. Allows you to assign bookings and push them to your employees' calendars

How to connect your calendar
To enable this, go to your admin backend > Scheduling > Linked Calendars.
Here, you will click "Connect"

Follow the steps to connect your calendar.


Pushing previous bookings
Connecting your calendar does not automatically push your already-scheduled bookings, it will only push newly created bookings.
If you would like to sync all current bookings, click the "Sync Current Bookings" button

This should take a few minutes, and will sync all active bookings, old and new. 


How do I use this to assign jobs to my cleaners?
Great question!
In order to assign bookings, 2 things need to be in place:
  1. Your main calendar must be connected 
  2. Your cleaners must be added as users in the system (see how HERE)
    (They to not need to have access, you can remove all permissions)
Once both are complete, you can assign users to any booking by going to the Bookings tab, and scrolling down.
Below the price, below the notes section, you will see this:


Click "+Add" and add as many users as you want (if your teams have multiple people, you can assign to them all)


Will recurring bookings get automatically assigned in the future once I assign the first one?
Yes, Once you assign one booking in the series, all of the following bookings will be automatically assigned to those users.
